Understanding the cover

Does combined mean every risk is included?

No. Only the agreed sections and insured events are covered. Cyber, professional indemnity and other specialist risks may need separate arrangements.

How long should the interruption period be?

Consider the time needed to rebuild, replace equipment and recover trading. Discuss realistic delays instead of matching the period to a lease or renewal date.

Practical details

Can several locations be included?

Provide each address and the values and activities there. Limits and conditions may differ by site.

Is machinery breakdown the same as property damage?

Not necessarily. Internal breakdown and damage from an insured external event can be treated differently. Explain the equipment and its importance to operations.
