INSURANCE AROUND YOUR BUSINESS
Look at the fleet.
Understand the business.
The right starting point is the whole operation: what the vehicles do, who drives them and how you manage changes.
Company cars
Working vans
Mixed vehicles
Driver arrangements
Own-goods use, courier work and passenger transport are different risks. We’ll discuss specialist requirements where they apply, rather than assume one fleet wording covers every activity.
Minimum vehicle numbers and eligible vehicle types vary by insurer. Fleet cover does not automatically mean unrestricted driving.

Windscreen benefits, excesses and repair arrangements vary by insurer.
This is a general comparison, not a policy summary. Availability and benefits depend on the insurer. The policy wording and certificate set out the actual cover and permitted use.
Not sure which level to choose?
We’ll explain the available cover and excesses before you decide.
02 / YOUR FLEET PRIORITIES
Your vehicles.
Your people.
Your operation.
Explore the four details that shape a fleet enquiry. We’ll check the available arrangements against your business.
EXPLORE YOUR FLEET PRIORITIES
01
VEHICLES
A clear picture of the fleet
Provide registrations, types, values, ownership and uses. Include leased vehicles, specialist equipment and any expected changes during the year.
02
DRIVERS
Named or wider driver arrangements
Tell us who needs to drive, their ages, licences and roles. Any-driver options remain subject to insurer conditions and do not cover everyone without restriction.
03
HISTORY
Claims experience in context
Have your claims experience and current schedule ready. Tell us about changes to the fleet and any measures introduced to manage incidents or driver risk.
04
MANAGEMENT
Keeping the details up to date
Ask how vehicle additions, removals and driver changes must be notified. We’ll explain the agreed process and any insurer reporting responsibilities.
These examples help us understand your needs. Available cover, terms and acceptance depend on the insurer.
03 / OPTIONAL EXTRAS
Extra protection.
A clearer picture.
Explore optional benefits and related policies. Some may already be included; others need separate cover. We’ll explain what is available for your circumstances.
01 / 06
Motor Legal Cover
Help with eligible legal costs when pursuing uninsured losses following a non-fault accident. Conditions apply to the prospects of success and authorisation of costs.
What we’ll help you check
- Which losses can be pursued?
- What must happen before costs are authorised?
- How is a claim reported?
02 / 06
Motor Breakdown
Explore roadside assistance and recovery for the vehicle use you declare. Home assistance, onward travel and vehicle restrictions depend on the product.
What we’ll help you check
- Does it accept this vehicle and its use?
- What weight, size or age limits apply?
- Which recovery and home services are included?
03 / 06
Goods in Transit
Ask about protection for goods carried in connection with your work. The load, ownership, value and conditions of carriage affect the cover needed.
What we’ll help you check
- Are my particular goods accepted?
- What limits apply to each load?
- What theft and unattended-vehicle conditions apply?
04 / 06
Motor Excess Protection
Ask about reimbursement of an eligible motor policy excess following a settled claim, subject to the protection limit and the product’s terms.
What we’ll help you check
- Which excess payments are eligible?
- What limits and exclusions apply?
- Which settlement documents are needed?
05 / 06
Public Liability
Discuss separate cover for liability arising from your business activities. It does not replace the motor insurance needed for use of the vehicle.
What we’ll help you check
- Which business activities are insured?
- How does it fit with the motor policy?
- What limits does my contract require?
06 / 06
Replacement Vehicle Options
Check the transport available if your vehicle is off the road after an insured incident. A courtesy vehicle and a separate hire benefit can have different conditions.
What we’ll help you check
- Which incidents qualify?
- What vehicle type and hire period are available?
- What happens after theft or a total loss?
Choose an option to explore. Availability, limits and exclusions vary. Related policies may be arranged separately; we’ll provide the relevant terms before you decide.

A LITTLE MORE CLARITY
Your questions
answered.
Answers to common questions about fleet insurance, drivers and arranging cover.
Understanding the cover
How many vehicles make a fleet?
There is no single minimum that applies to every insurer. Tell us how many vehicles you operate and the plans for your business so we can check suitable options.
Can cars and vans be on the same policy?
Mixed-vehicle arrangements may be available, subject to the insurer accepting the vehicle types, ownership and business use. Provide a full vehicle list.
Does fleet insurance cover any driver?
Not automatically. Named-driver or wider driving arrangements depend on the insurer. Age, licence, occupation and other restrictions can still apply to any-driver terms.
Can different vehicles have different cover levels?
Some arrangements allow different cover levels or excesses for different vehicles. We’ll check what is available and how it appears on the schedule.
Vehicles, drivers and use
Can you look at courier or taxi fleets?
Tell us about the exact work. Deliveries and passenger transport require appropriate specialist acceptance. Taxi Fleet Insurance and Van Fleet Insurance have their own pages.
What claims information will you need?
We may need an insurer-issued claims experience showing the relevant periods, payments and outstanding claims. We’ll confirm the documents required for your enquiry.
Are goods and tools included?
Not automatically. Motor cover, goods-in-transit insurance and tools cover protect different things. Tell us what each vehicle carries and the values involved.
How do I add or remove a vehicle?
Contact us and follow the agreed reporting process. Do not assume additions are automatically covered; notification rules and any database responsibilities depend on the policy.
Getting a quote
How do I request a quote?
Choose a quick callback or share your quote details using the enquiry form. You can also call 020 8374 9331. We’ll review your information and discuss the available options.
Does the enquiry form put cover in place?
No. It asks our team to contact you. Cover must be arranged and confirmed, with the required details and payment arrangements completed, before you rely on it.
Can I ask about monthly payments?
Yes. Ask us about available payment arrangements and the total cost. Instalments on an annual policy are not the same as a monthly insurance policy. Finance is subject to eligibility and terms.
Managing your policy
Can I change the policy later?
Contact us before changing vehicles, drivers or vehicle use. Insurer acceptance, additional premiums and fees may apply. Check the change is confirmed before relying on cover.
What happens if I want to cancel?
Please contact us and confirm your request in writing. Any refund, fees and outstanding finance depend on the policy terms, time on cover and claims position.
When can I speak to the team?
Call 020 8374 9331, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We are based at 133 Tottenham Lane, Crouch End, London, N8 9BJ.
