Key Facts about our insurance services.

The Financial Services Authority (FSA)
The FSA is the independent watchdog that regulates financial services. It requires us to give you this document. Use this information to decide if our services are right for you.

Whose products do we offer?
We only offer products from a limited number of insurers. Ask us for a list of insurers that we offer insurance from.

Which service will we provide you with?
You will not receive advice or a recommendation from us. We may ask some questions to narrow down the selection of products that we will provide details on. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed.

What will you have to pay us for our services?
As Independent Insurance Brokers we are paid commission by your insurer. We also make certain charges to cover administration of your insurance policy. Any charge applied will always be advised to you in advance. Details of our charges are shown below: –

Return Premiums (usually arising if a risk is reduced or a policy cancelled) On a return premium, we repay commission on the amount to your insurer and this will be deducted from the final amount refunded to you. If an insurance risk is reduced or a policy cancelled we will refund any return premium due subject to the terms and conditions of your policy (after deduction of our charge and commission). No cancellation refunds apply to 30 day or less contracts. No cancellation refunds apply to 3-month contracts unless cancelled during the “cooling off” period. Further details are included in our Terms of Business.

Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)?
We are covered by the FSCA. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.

For compensatory classes of insurance such as TP Only motor insurance, insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim, without any upper limit. For other types of insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit.
